The first puck drop of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs is merely hours away. With thousands of brackets being made, let’s take a look at a more stats-based bracket involved using TWCScore values devised for the TWC Power Rankings.

The team with the higher TWCScore advanced, and the Round One games played were predicted based on relative TWCScore differences in each matchup.

Endless Possibilities

Who knows what will happen during the playoffs. However, when using TWCScore to determine winners of playoff matchups, the bracket looks half decent. Some favourites decidedly win, while other upsets seem to make sense.

Tampa Bay and Calgary, both boasting the top TWCScores in the East and West respectively, can collide for a Stanley Cup rematch one and half decades in the making.
