NHL Draft

Breaking down the 2024 NHL draft class by various statistics

The Stanley Cup has been awarded, and every team in the NHL is officially in offseason mode. The biggest day of the offseason, the draft, is this Friday, and this year’s class is a lot more balanced than in previous years. There may be a consensus number-one pick, but after that, it’s total guesswork. Between position, skill, size, contracts with other leagues, and more, it’s anyone’s guess as to how teams will prioritize picks.

What’s objective though are the measurable metrics of the draft class. From how they weigh in to how they performed on the ice, here’s a breakdown of the 2024 draft class. Included are prospects that featured on any ranking in the TWC consolidated 2024 draft rankings.
