The Calgary Flames announced this afternoon that they have recalled Cole Schwindt from their AHL affiliate the Calgary Wranglers.
Flames recall Schwindt
The Flames sent Schwindt down the Wranglers yesterday to get him into their game last night as the Flames gear up for their game against the Sharks tomorrow night.
Schwindt scored a goal in the Wranglers 4–2 win over the Manitoba Moose, and will be poised to get back into the Flames lineup as they enter the last 29 games of the season.
So far this year, all of Schwindt’s points have come in the AHL. He’s still looking for his first NHL point as he’s now featured in six total NHL games—three back as a Florida Panthers prospect, and three with the Flames this year.
