Dillon Dube takes indefinite leave of absence from the Calgary Flames

It was announced this morning that the Calgary Flames have granted Dillon Dube an indefinite leave of absence from the team to attend to his mental health. The team posted this statement earlier today.

Mental health is still health, and we all hope that Dube can get through whatever he is going through to get back on the ice with the team sooner rather than later. Pat Steinberg added that the leave is not substance related.

The team said there will be no further comment at this time and that his privacy should be respected.
