The Calgary Flames have played at the pace they need to over the past few weeks, and looked to secure another crucial two points against a divisional rival in the Los Angeles Kings.
That didn’t happen.
In what might have been the most embarrassing game for the Flames this season, they were absolutely dismantled by the Kings and fell by a blowout score of 8-2.
When the fans in LA stopped cheering for their own team’s goals, you know it was bad. They’re not out of the playoffs just yet, but it sure feels like they are.
