Flames Game Recaps

Flames Visual Recap 47: Flames win big against Montreal, keep playoff hopes alive

Two games in two nights against the Montreal Canadiens, and the Calgary Flames showed up, big time.

With a huge win on the latter half of the back-to-back, the Flames have kept their playoff hopes alive with a commanding 5-2 victory over the Canadiens.

The Habs were forced to use Cayden Primeau in net due to an injury to Carey Price, and the Flames capitalized. They were tenacious and determined almost all night, battled through penalty trouble, and came out with a crucial two points. If the Flames can win again on Monday night, we’ll have a real race for fourth place in the North.
