Prior to the Calgary Wranglers’ season opener, the team announced their captains and leadership group for the 2025-26 season.
Captain Clark Bishop
Following Brett Sutter’s retirement from professional hockey as a player (he’s now the Wranglers’ Head Coach), Clark Bishop took over as captain of the Wranglers last season. He will remain the captain for this season as well.
Joining him as alternate captains this season are Martin Frk, Alex Gallant, Nick Cicek, and Dryden Hunt
Gallant is the only returning player donning an “A” for the Wranglers this season.
The leadership group has combined for 2198 games in the NHL and AHL and will be excellent mentors for the young Wranglers this season.
