Wyttenbach was the first ever recipient of The Gaudreau Award, given to the USHL player who best embodies the legacy of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.

Analyzing the pick
Ethan Wyttenbach is a high-skill left winger with a knack for moving the puck. A point-per-game scorer for Sioux Falls, this season he demonstrated that he can score at will despite being undersized at just 5’9″. If he can find a way to score at the pro-level, this could end up being a high value pick from the Flames.
What’s next for Ethan Wyttenbach
Scouts are suggesting that some time playing college hockey would most-likely benefit Wyttenbach. He is currently committed to play with Quinnipiac University next season which should give him a chance to get some more experience playing against older competition.
