NHL Fantasy: Streamers for week 23 playoffs

The fantasy hockey playoffs are here. Another regular season is in the books, and those lucky enough to make their league’s playoffs are now fighting for the ultimate fantasy crown. With the playoffs in full force, streamers are now more important than ever. Below are four players worth adding to your roster for week 23 fantasy playoffs.

Mason McTavish, C – Anaheim Ducks

Mason McTavish is a great add this coming week for a couple reasons. First off, he’s been red hot in March. Over his last 10 games dating back to March 4, McTavish has four goals, eight assists, and 12 points. He’s also tacked on 20 shots and three power play points over that span. Across his last 10 games, he’s gone pointless just twice and has four multi-point efforts.

McTavish has been one of the NHL’s best players in March, sitting tied for sixth in points since March 1. Secondly, the Anaheim Ducks play on three off nights next week. This offers even more added value to a McTavish stream.

Kiefer Sherwood, W – Vancouver Canucks

Kiefer Sherwood is a hits machine, pacing the entire league in hits this season with a ridiculous 383 hits on the year. What makes him worth a stream is the fact he’s able to tack on some points and shots at the same time. In his last 10 games he’s racked up 63 hits along with six points and 15 shots.

This coming week, the Vancouver Canucks play four times, with all four games landing on off nights. If you need some help in multiple categories, Sherwood is a perfect add for week 23.

Ryan Hartman, C/W – Minnesota Wild

It hasn’t been a good season for Ryan Hartman, but since returning from his lengthy suspension, he’s found his game again. In his eight games since returning to the lineup, Hartman has put up six points, including four on the power play. He’s also added on 23 shots and eight hits.

Hartman is already skating on the Minnesota Wild’s top power play unit. With Marco Rossi banged up, Hartman may see an expanded role at even strength as well. With the Wild on the schedule four times next week, Hartman is worth a look, given his dual eligibility at wing or centre.

Jake Neighbours, W – St. Louis Blues

March has been a great month for the St. Louis Blues and for Jake Neighbours. The 22-year-old is in the midst of the best season of his career, with his hot play over the past few weeks playing a major role in that.

Dating back to February 25, Neighbours has six goals and 13 points in 12 games. He’s also added three power play points, 17 hits, and 13 shots. Currently skating on the Blues’ stacked top line with Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich, Neighbours is in a perfect position to continue to see strong production.
