For the first time since 2021, the NHL will not be having an All-Star Game. Instead, the NHL will be holding the Four Nations Face Off in which Canada, Sweden, Finland, and the United States will compete in a tournament.
Rasmus Andersson will be representing the Flames on team Sweden, however, if this tournament was not happening, who would be representing the Flames at the All-Star Game? We asked, you answered.

Which Flames are making the All-Star Game?
We posted the below poll to our readers.
If there was an All Star game this year, who would you pick to be the #Flames nominee?

Jonathan Huberdeau
Huberdeau has finally shown signs of life as a Flame this season. He is still only projected to score around 60 points by the time the season ends, however, he is on pace to break his career-high in goals, and he has generally looked confident on the ice.
Based on his past as a Flame, no Flames fan could have seen this coming. Despite the bounce back, only roughly 20% of voters believe Huberdeau would be the Flames’ representative. Huberdeau’s performance has been a sight for sore eyes for many fans, but more production would likely be needed from him if he were to make the All-Star Game.
Nazem Kadri
Kadri has been a very consistent player for Calgary ever since he joined the team. Sure, he has had stretches where he has not produced and hasn’t looked good, but he is usually a lock to score at least 50 points a season. He did it his first year in Calgary, hit 75 his second year, and is now on pace to reach at least 50 again. Despite this, barely any voters selected Kadri. Just like Huberdeau, more production would be needed from him to be a lock for the All-Star Game.
Dustin Wolf
This poll was a landslide for Dustin Wolf. Dustin Wolf is the best player on the Flames. He is practically the only reason the Flames even stand a chance to make the playoffs. Of all goalies who have played 20 or more games, he has the fifth-highest save percentage in the league with 0.917, and he has the ninth-best goals against average at 2.50. Oh, he is also only 23 years old and is already one of the best goalies in the NHL.
Wolf has been the MVP for the Flames so far this season, and he would be very deserving of an All-Star selection if there were a game.
Matt Coronato
Coronato is already one of the Flames’ best pure goal scorers. He has developed incredibly well—even just from last year—and is on track to be a 20+ goal scorer this season. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see him get 30+.
Every game, Coronato looks better and better. Less than 10% of voters selected Coronato to have made the All-Star Game, however, in the not-so-distant future, get used to seeing both Coronato and Wolf at these games.
The Flames’ future is bright
The leading voter-getter for the Flames All-Star selection was a 23-year-old rookie goaltender. Additionally, the third-highest vote-receiver was a Flames sophomore who is becoming more and more of a scoring threat every game.
Sure, the Flames may only have Andersson on Team Sweden, and they may not have any representatives on Team Canada or USA, but Flames fans can rest easy knowing that the future is looking bright with their young players like Dustin Wolf, Matt Coronato, and Connor Zary.
