The Calgary Flames are going camping!
The team officially announced the complete training camp roster and schedule for the next few weeks as they prepare for the 2024–25 NHL season. Calgary will be bringing a total of 64 players to camp including 37 forwards, 21 defensemen, and 6 goalies. These players will be divided into three groups: Team Crisp, Team MacNeil, and Team Johnson. Here’s how it breaks down:

Team MacNeil and Team Crisp are the two NHL-heavy groups, with Team Johnson made up of the guys heading to the AHL and junior hockey primarily.
The on-ice sessions begin on September 19th and continue through September 22nd, with the team playing their first pre-season game against the Seattle Kraken that evening.
