This week’s Saturday night NHL schedule features 14 games including four Canadian teams, two of which will play on Hockey Night in Canada.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will visit the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7:00 p.m. EST for the early game, and the Calgary Flames will visit the Los Angeles Kings at 10:00 p.m. EST for the late game.
The two other games featuring Canadian teams are Ottawa Senators hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:00 p.m. EST, and the Vancouver Canucks hosting the San Jose Sharks at 10:00 p.m. EST.

There is no value picking the Leafs in this game. However, with a line like +165 and the Leafs coming off back-to-back losses including a brutal one against the Buffalo Sabers, why not pick the Blue Jackets in this one?
Arizona Coyotes (+185) at Colorado Avalanche (-215) – 9:00 p.m. ET
The Coyotes are 1-0 against the Avalanche so far this year and are riding a four game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Avalanche have losses to several seemingly inferior teams lately, including the Blackhawks, Flyers, and Ducks. The Coyotes have played very well this year and have an excellent goalie tandem, so you can never really count them out. With a line like this, there is value to be had.
New York Islanders (+150) at Carolina Hurricanes (-125) – 7:30 p.m. ET
The Hurricanes have lost seven of their last 10 games, whereas the Islanders have won seven of their past 11. On the Carolina side, this is mostly driven by abysmal goaltending; the Hurricanes are third last in the league in 5v5 save percentage, and dead last in all situations. Continuing with choosing underdogs, there is value on the hotter Islanders than the colder Hurricanes in this matchup.
