Well, this was a game unlike any we’ve seen all year from the Calgary Flames. After another disappointing overtime defeat to a bottom feeder team, the Flames wrapped up a quick two-game road trip in Vegas to take on the Golden Knights.
From the opening puck drop, things were going the Flames’ way. They were getting bounces all night long, the new lines were clicking, and it was a great day if you were cheering for a Flames win.
They scored seven goals, and have closed the gap on Winnipeg for the final wild card spot to just three points. There might just be a shot at the playoffs after all.
