After a turbulent and exciting offseason, now forever known as “The Summer of Brad”, the Calgary Flames have officially opened training camp for the 2022–23 season. With a fresh new core and energy in the city at an all-time high, this season will be a treat.
The puck drops on Sunday September 25 for the team’s first preseason game against the Vancouver Canucks. Join us for the fifth annual Calgary Flames Over/Under Predictions!
We’ve put together a comprehensive list of things we think might happen for the Flames over the course of the 2022–23 season and marked them up with thresholds we believe are targets for this year. Your job is to decide whether the threshold is realistic. Is Jonathan Huberdeau going to beat his previous high of 85 assists? Will Elias Lindholm score 50 goals? Does MacKenzie Weegar slide into the PP1 slot and lead the defence in power play points?
This year, we’re offering a prize to the person who picks the most correct answers by the end of the season.
