David Pastrnak – W – $7,200

The Boston Bruins and and David Pastrnak have been snake-bitten versus the Hurricanes so far this series, as they’ve scored just three goals across two games so far. That may be ending very soon though as the Bruins will be back on home ice and potentially facing a rookie third string goalie.

Pastrnak has put a ridiculous 13 shots on net so far in this series and has yet to score a single goal or register a single point. There’s no way that will continue forever if he continues to be involved offensively as much as he is right now. The Bruins will be desperate in this one to avoid going down 3–0 in the series and if the Hurricanes are forced to start their third string goalie on the road, it could finally open the floodgates for Pastrnak and the Bruins.

Ville Husso – G – $7,600

Ville Husso was outstanding in Game 1, pitching a 37-save shutout in his first ever playoff start. Unfortunately in Game 2 the Wild had his number and he was lit up for five goals. That shouldn’t have been too much of a surprise though as the Wild are too good to lose back-to-back games on home ice.

In Game 3 on the Blues’ home ice, Husso has a great shot to stymie the Wild offence once again. On home ice in the regular season, Husso posted a .926 save percentage and 2.34 GAA. It’s no surprise as the Blues are a tough team to play at home as they went 26–10–5 in St. Louis this year. Expect the Blues to bounce back led by a strong performance from Husso. The only cheaper goalie option is Johnathon Quick, so Husso provides some good value.
