NHL Fantasy: Week 26 streaming options for playoffs

If you are still competing in your fantasy hockey league in Week 26, chances are that you have made it to the finals in your league. Now is the last chance to make your final push to secure your first place finish. So, who should you add to your roster to give you the best chance in winning the championship? Let’s take a look.

Evgenii Dadonov – LW, RW – Vegas Golden Knights

The almost Anaheim Duck has been on a tear since he almost got traded. Over the past month, Evgenii Dadonov has been over a point per game, registering 7 goals and 15 points in only 11 games played. Vegas is desperate to make the playoffs, so you can guarantee Dadonov will be trying to play his best hockey during this stretch.

Dadonov could be a great add to your roster during finals, and if he keeps up producing the way he has been, he might end up being your best performer for the week. At just 16% owned, he should be widely available in many leagues.

Kevin Hayes – C – Philadelphia Flyers

Philadelphia has been an absolute disaster this year, however Kevin Hayes this past month has been the opposite. He has been playing at a point per game pace—registering 15 points—and has racked up the 49 shots in just 15 games played. Hayes can bring great value to your stat sheet this upcoming week, especially if your league does not have count plus-minus.

Kevin Hayes is only 9% owned, and if you are able to take on his plus minus onto your roster, he will be sure to make up for it with his points and shots. As a streamer pick up, you can’t ask for more than what Hayes is bringing offensively.

Luke Schenn – D – Vancouver Canucks

Looking for hits? Luke Schenn will bring you plenty. Schenn is currently fifth in the league when it comes to hits. On top of that, he has registered 55 hits over the past month. That puts him at an average of almost four hits per game.

It’s safe to say that Schenn will absolutely stuff your stat sheet. Schenn is only 15% owned, and with Vancouver clinging to their last bit of hope to secure a playoff spot, he will be looking to wear down his opponents. Vancouver also plays seven games during week 26, so this could be a very valuable pick up.

Logan Thompson – G – Vegas Golden Knights

Coming off a dominant performance against the Calgary Flames, Calgary-born Logan Thompson will be looking to build off the momentum. With Robin Lehner going back to Vegas due to a health issue with one of his family members, Vegas will be relying on Thompson to carry the team into the playoffs.

Thompson has played in nine games over the past month, and he has recorded a .938 save %, 2.00 GAA, and seven wins. With Vegas desperately trying to snatch a playoff spot, I would expect Thompson to continue his strong play. Thompson is only 14% owned, and now that he might be their go-to goalie for the time being, he is a very valuable pick up.

Making the last week count

The additions you make to your team this week are more important than ever. Adding valuable depth players to your team who will give you the stats you need is key to securing first place. Best of luck to all teams in the finals!
