Visualising 2018-19 shot and goal distances for Pacific Division teams

Earlier this offseason, I made a data visualisation showing the distances of shots and goals for the Calgary Flames. It was fascinating seeing the various types of offence different Flames had, and I wanted to see how the rest of the league fared.

Throughout this week, shot and goal distance charts for all 31 teams will be posted in a series of posts for each division. Kicking things off is the Pacific Division.

Players are plotted if they played at least 30 games in the past season, and all data is from MoneyPuck.com‘s shot data for the 2018-19 season.
